AGM NOTIFCATION

This is the first notification the Windsor Cricket Club AGM will take place on Wednesday 25^th January 2006 – please note the Wednesday date and NOT the traditional Thursday. As members this is a vital time to discuss and vote on issues that will take place on and off the pitch next year so please make every effort to attend. Venue is the main pavilion at the Home Park, 7pm for a 7.30pm Start

2006 SPORTS QUIZ

Most of you will know that Chris Smith runs an annual sport quiz based on sporting events that runs throughout the year. Attached to this email is the 2006 entry form and instructions on how to enter. Prizes are based on the number of entrants as ALL CASH PAID IN IS PAID OUT IN PRIZES, so the more people that enter the bigger the prize pool! This is open not just to club members but to anyone that may be interested. Please forward this email and instructions on how to enter to anyone who may want to participate and encourage them to do so as well.

LORDS TAVERNERS

More details will be outlined at the AGM regarding this event but plans are in place to hold our Presidents day game against a celebrity team of Lords Taverners. We are doing this in association with Windsor and Eton Rotary club as 2006 sees them celebrate their 75^th anniversary. We are therefore in the process of looking for major sponsors for this event. As our site reaches its limit on space provided by our current hosts we are taking the opportunity to move this service to one which provides a more value for money service. This move will take place over the Xmas break to minimise disruption. Hopefully everything will run smoothly but if you are experiencing difficulties, this will be reason why.
